A: You do not need current certification for a challenge level class HOWEVER, we strongly recommend that you review the material via the resources we send to you and additionally you can access a good amount of material on the Red Cross website. We always want everyone to do well however there are Red Cross standards that people need to satisfy and you would only have the ability to challenge once if you do not have current certification. After that you would need to register for the full class. If your certification is current you can challenge as many times as you want through the certification validity period however you will need to register for another challenge session on another day.
